Symend Joins the Microsoft for Startups Program

Symend to take part in global program dedicated to helping B2B startups scale their companies worldwide

CALGARY, Alberta — December 17, 2020 — Symend, a software as a service (SaaS) solution that uses state-of-the-art behavioral science and technology to engage at-risk customers with empathy, today announced it has joined the Microsoft for Startups program. The global program helps B2B startups scale through access to its ever-expanding partner network, commercial marketplaces and enterprise sales team.

Startups, like Symend, that participate in the program get access to cutting-edge technology such as Azure and GitHub Enterprise alongside a global partner ecosystem to help streamline the sales journey. Companies in the program reported an average deal size of more than six figures in the last year alone while securing over $1 billion in sales opportunities.

“Microsoft for Startups is a very exclusive and prestigious program. We are honored to be accepted into the program as a business on a fast growth trajectory, and we believe that Microsoft’s support will help us accelerate,” said Hanif Joshaghani, CEO and Co-Founder of Symend. “We help enterprise clients empathetically engage with their customers, and this partnership will support our operational expansion to new markets and verticals across the globe.”

Symend proactively engages at-risk customers with positive, personalized outreach at every stage of the customer lifecycle. Powered by Microsoft Azure, the Symend solution benefits from a high level of scalability, agility and enterprise-level data security. Being a part of the program further enhances Symend’s capabilities within Azure through engineering support and developer tools along with a customized go-to-market plan.

“We are pleased to welcome Symend into the Microsoft for Startups program as it shares our vision of driving digital transformation and providing consumer-centric solutions around the world,” said Jeff Ma, Vice President, Microsoft for Startups. “We look forward to working with Symend to deliver their solution to our joint global customers.”

Symend will have the opportunity to participate in exclusive Microsoft events to showcase how behavioral science, artificial intelligence and machine learning improve clients’ ROI year over year, and reveal how it integrates Microsoft tools into its platform. In September 2020, Joshaghani presented at Microsoft Ignite to share how Symend’s solution provides strategies that align with clients’ in-house systems and brand to improve operational efficiency.
