Symend Gives: Supporting Mental Health in North America

Symend Gives

Symend’s corporate social responsibility program, Symend Gives, is supporting mental health across North America through the Canadian Mental Health Association in Canada and the National Alliance on Mental Illness in the US.

Supporting Mental Health

As the world faces one of our most challenging times in recent history, we recognize that taking care of our mental health and the mental well-being of those around us is just as important as our physical health.

Symend is founded on the principle of treating individuals with empathy and concern for their dignity and well-being when they need it most. During recent unprecedented events, we have been supporting our clients as they adjust to new and different ways of customer engagement. We’re sharing our behavioral science expertise to help them reach out to their customers with understanding in this time of stress and uncertainty.

But we want to do more. Our Symend Gives project is born out of our desire to “walk our talk” and give back to a cause we care about at a time when the need has never been greater.

Symend is partnering with the Canadian Mental Health Association in Canada and the National Alliance on Mental Illness in the US to raise funds for the inevitable impact the COVID-19 pandemic will have on the mental well-being of people in our communities. Our goal is to raise $5,000 for each charity between April 24–May 31, 2020.

Our fundraising efforts will coincide with two important national awareness campaigns taking place in May: Mental Health Week in Canada that runs May 4–10 and Mental Health Month in the United States.

We invite you to give to these important initiatives along with us. Donations can be made as part of our Symend Gives campaign to the Canadian Mental Health Association here, and to the National Alliance on Mental Illness here.

For every $1,000 milestone that we reach, members of our team will showcase their own acts of giving and mental health awareness on our social media channels using #SymendGives.

We appreciate your support and encourage you to view the resources available to the public through each organization. Now, more than ever, we need to be kind and take care of each other, including supporting mental health.
